¿Cómo va el comienzo de año?
No sé vosotros, pero yo, lectoramente hablando, estoy teniendo un buen
comienzo de año, lleno de buenas lecturas y muchas (quizá demasiadas) compras
(estoy trabajando en ello jajaja).
Nunca he sido especialmente buena planificando mis lecturas, y lo cierto es
que no voy a empezar ahora. Me conozco, sé cómo funciono, tanto en lo que a
leer como a otros aspectos se refiere, y por mucho que a veces consigo
"obligarme" a leer, normalmente no es una buena idea.
Así que sí, me declaro mood reader total. Abrazo esta condición, e
intento organizarme pese a ello... con dudoso éxito.
Como decía, este año ya han caído unas cuantas compritas de más, y si a estas
le añadimos las que aún tengo pendientes sin leer del año anterior (o
anteriores)... bueno, la cosa se complica.
Este año tengo como propósito (no de año nuevo, solo propósito en general,
porque sí, porque creo que es algo que tengo que hacer) ir leyendo las cosas
según las voy comprando. Que sé que no lo voy a cumplir 100% y que algunas
compran van a estar un tiempito sin leer en mis estanterías hasta que al fin
me apetezca ponerme con ellas, pero intentaré que no pasen meses antes de
ponerme con ellos.
Así que el plan del post de hoy es presentaros algunos de los libros que
espero leer a lo largo de los próximos meses:

CE Ricci es una autora a la que he leído antes (de hecho, tengo pensado releer
su primera bilogía, que también tengo en casa jajaja).
Este libro llevaba un tiempo queriendo comprarlo, y finalmente caí en la
tentación. Solo espero no dejarlo sin leer durante mucho tiempo y que me guste
tanto como creo que me va a gustar.

No sé si este libro os sonará o no. Quizá no con esta portada. Pero si os
intrigan este tipo de novelas, que sepáis que hoy sale a la venta de la mano
de Lit RBA, un nuevo sello de la editorial RBA. Yo llevaba un tiempo con este
libro en el carrito de ZON y finalmente decidí comprarlo en inglés en vez de
en español porque tengo varios libros de la autora y quiero mantener las
ediciones. Igualmente, tengo la esperanza de que la tradu sea buena y de que
mucha gente se anime a leerlo para que licencien más de sus libros.

comprar este libro en tapa dura porque tengo otros Lukens en esa edición, pero
tenía un precio muy jugoso y no pude contenerme jajaja

Lo mismo os digo de este libro. Lo tenéis publicado en español por Puck bajo
el título En busca de la magia, y lo he comprado en esta edición porque
tenía un precio maravilloso. Ahora tengo que pensar si cambio mis libros en
tapa dura por tapa blanda para que conjunten, porque me da un telele al
tenerlos disparejos jajaja
Tras una cita a ciegas desastrosa, Darcy Lowell no puede esperar a que su
hermano se canse de hacer de celestina. El amor, y el inevitable desamor, es

alguien de espíritu tan libre como ella. Cuando el hermano de Darcy, su

Este libro no pensaba comprarlo, no os voy a mentir. Ha sido la comrpa más
impulsiva que he hecho en lo que va de año, y solo espero no arrepentirme
cuando lo lea. En realidad, tenía pensado comprarlo en inglés, ya que sale más
económico y está la trilogía entera. No tengo muy claro si van a seguir
publicando los libros, pero espero que sí o me dará un mal.
Todos parecían divertirse en aquel baile que reunía a lo más selecto de la
sociedad londinense. Todos, excepto ellos dos. Daphne, una hermosa joven
agobiada por su madre, y Simon, el huraño nuevo duque de Hastings, tenían
el mismo problema: la continua presión para que encontraran pareja. Al
conocerse, se les ocurrió el plan perfecto: fingir un compromiso que los
liberara de más agobios. Pero no sería sencillo, ya que el hermano de
Daphne, amigo de Simon, no es fácil de engañar, ni tampoco lo son las
avezadas damas de la alta sociedad. Aunque lo que complicará de verdad las
cosas será la aparición de un elemento que no estaba previsto en este
juego a dos bandas: el amor.

Pongo este libro aunque en realidad tengo ya los 5 primeros sin releer jajaja
Disaster me. Y digo releer porque ya leí esta saga en su día y no la tenía
comprada, pero me he animado con estas ediciones especiales. Aún no he
comenzado la relectura, pero me gustaría ponerme cuanto antes porque a este
paso me compro la saga entera y todavía no la he empezado. ¿Apuestas?

Este es el tercer libro de una saga que me encanta y por fin, tras un relativo
parón (la autora sacó todos los libros anteriores bastante rápido, y luego con
este tardó bastante más) parece que la autora vuelve a estar activa. Me
gustaría releer los dos primeros, no porque sea necesario sino porque me
gustan mucho y ya puestos, ¿por qué no? Así que el plan es coger una semanita
y ponerme con los tres, uno tras otro.

Este libro lo cogí en preventa en ZON el 14 de febrero del 2024, en cuanto
vi que Tor iba a reeditar este título y que ya estaba disponible para darle
a la preventa. Siempre dudo de si me llegará o no lo que pillo en preventa
en esta tienda... pero en esta ocasión ha habido suerte y me ha llegado una
edición en tapa dura preciosa con cantos pintados. En su día no leí este
libro cuando Klune lo autpublicó, así que voy a ciegas y con ganas de
disfrutar de su pluma una vez más.

Me encantaría poder poner la portada y la sinopsis de
The Golden Raven, el quinto libro de la saga All For the Game que
será publicado el 22 de febrero. Pero como todavía no tenemos ni una ni otra
(al menos no a fecha de hoy mientras escrito esta entrada, la publicaré en
un par de días y quizá entonces tengamos una u otra... pero siendo Nora como
es, quién sabe). Igualmente, quiero releer este libro antes de que salga el
nuevo, así que me viene igual de bien para el post.
Y esto es todo por hoy, que no es poco.
Espero, de verdad, ir trayendo estas reseñas al blog poco a poco, lo
que demostrará que estoy siendo fiel a mis propósitos jajaja Y solo espero
que entre tanto no me compre demasiados libros nuevos. De momento este mes
estoy portánodme mejor que en enero, así que me doy por satisfecha (aunque
todavía queda mucho mes por delante)
